WE WERE PIONEERS IN THE USE OF POLYSTYRENE IN ITALY

We started as packaging manufacturers, evolving over time to become specialists in polystyrene cutting.

Our story begins at the dawn of the 60s with the production of packaging. At that time we mainly used wood, but in the middle of the decade an event marked a turning point in our path: the arrival on the market of synthesized expanded polystyrene (EPS), commonly known as styrofoam.

Guido Gasperini, the then owner of the company, immediately perceived its potential. With remarkable foresight, he started the first experiments to integrate EPS in packaging , in combination with cardboard. At that time, polystyrene was still a little-known material.

We operate in this sector by designing and building independently the machinery needed to work it. With resourcefulness, we explore its potential applications. These are years of economic explosion, and among the first to recognize the value of this new product are the manufacturers of household appliances .

In those years, we started our first commercial collaborations with the IGNIS brand , now part of Whirlpool , which from that moment became a trusted customer of ours. We also collaborated with Radi , whose relationship still persists today under the Ariston brand . In a few years, we completely replaced wood with EPS, radically transforming our entire operation.

In 1979 we inaugurated the new headquarters of the company, changing our company name to the current form of General Partnership . The following years represent a period of constant growth for us. Driven by a continuous desire to improve organization and technologies, we expanded our machinery park.

The new equipment allows us to diversify the sectors in which we operate. In addition to thermal insulation and polystyrene packaging , typical applications of this material, we begin to deal with polystyrene shapes for construction , products for pipe insulation and custom-made polystyrene structures for wellness and window dressing.

Since 2003, our organization has been ISO 9001 certified , thus guaranteeing quality and cost control on all production orders.

Since 2005, our insulation products have been CE marked according to EN 13163 and, since 2013, we have obtained the mandatory CE marking for pipe insulation cups, in accordance with EN 14309.

Today we also offer innovative solutions such as the sloped polystyrene roofing , which meets specific insulation and protection needs.
